This is the last post in the mini-series about fundraising through LinkedinIn. In the last two posts I’ve explained: Part 1: how to find your target audience🎯 Part 2: how to automate your outreach to the target audience📬 If you haven’t read them, make sure to take a look at least at part 1 since you can do this part without knowing how to automate the invitation process. However, if you want to increase the number of investors and save yourself some time, read part 2 here:
While I enthusiastically read this super article series, Now I disagree with you. I mean with what you said above about the 300 characters :) Because I think "There's no accounting for taste" :)
For example, when I'm contacted, I love those 1-2 tweet sized summaries that allow me to decide perfectly well whether I need this or not... whether I'm interested in further conversation or not.
However, if in 100-150 characters I just refer to a postponed opportunity at some bogus event, I'll have to explain further afterwards if what I'm doing is even a connection between us, etc.
No. I prefer short straight talk... these are we should or not. :)
And I say this mainly because in the beginning I used similar segues "we were at the event together but couldn't talk in person..." etc.
However , the number of feedbacks so far proves that it is more effective (for me ) what I send in 300 characters.
But I would be happy if we could talk about this in person, discuss it, maybe on a partnership or some kind of cooperation basis... and then talk about the results :)
